All customer information is unique to
each individual customer and should be protected as such. With
identity theft a constant risk we have set forth the following policy to
better protect our customers information:
No passwords are to be given over the
phone or in person without proper identification. This means that
a customer must provide proof of identity to you in order for you to
offer the current or change to a future password. Idenity theft is
a very large and real risk. Please explain to any customer that we
are doing this to protect them. We are sorry for any
inconvenience. However no passwords are to be given out or changed
without consent and validation of the proven owner of the account
and a log entry of that change is noted in the customers file with the
following information: Name of contact, phone number contact
called from, and what process of identification was used to give
adequate effort in securing the information
